You know how I always emphasize the potential of Photoshop brushes when it comes to making some extra bucks (and we could all use some, right? :))
So, in one of my recent posts I was sharing my happiness with you because someone just bought a T-Shirt that I made with a little help of my Photoshop brushes! And just as I finished that post someone bought 99 buttons that I also made with a little help from my Photoshop brushes.
Photoshop professionals, enthusiasts and graphic designers do all kinds of commercial projects and businesses with my Photoshop brushes (and vectors from my shop). For instance, some do:

- Others do invitations (all kinds of invitations)

Did you notice these Hollywood actors, for instance, when they are giving an interview about that great movie that got an Oscar? They always say: “We had so much fun doing it!” And they are not just saying that! They really had fun. The more fun you have while creating, the better creation will be.

Guys, It’s this special Halloween time again and we want to be creative with Photoshop brushes again. So today, I prepared something special:
Paper Halloween candle shades made with Photoshop Brushes!
I’m sure you like what you see and you’re all eager to start.
OK. Requirements for this project are as follows:
- 3 glass jars
- 3 candles
- 3 sheets of paper
- Cool free downloads with Halloween graphics (that’s where I come in)
- transparent adhesive tape
- Pre-production checkup personnel (here performed by Poofah and Peeko, please see below)
So, let’s start.
Download the paper shades and print them out on your color printer (click on the image).

Then find some glass jars, candles and transparent adhesive tape:
But, wait! We need someone to approve the supplies :)
Here you can see Poofah and Peeko carefully examining the quality of the supplies. It was a tense moment.
OK. Now when it’s all approved we will print out these three images, put the candles into the jars, lit them up and simply wrap up the glass jars around and stick it with a tape.
Now, how simple was that!?

Here is a good idea on how to make a birthday party invitations – use this ransom note Photoshop brush and put together a following note:
“If you don’t show up at my birthday party at date XX:XX:XX place XXXXX I will be extremely disappointed and apart from that there will be no other consequences whatsoever.”
OK. I know it would be much better to use the similar ransom font, but hey! I had to make some kind of introduction and you must admit that the idea itself has a glimpse of humor in it, innit?
Another usage of this brushes would be Digital Scrapbooking!
To make the long story short, the only limit is your imagination. Let me know how you used it, gimme some feedback and let’s share the ideas!

Monday, Monday…
Today I created a set of “film brushes” made out of my old negatives and slides (6×6 and 35 mm).
All images are mine. I took ‘em :) (Please see commercial use of brushes info). Some of them are even taken with the Lomo camera – Holga :) and the origin looks like this yellow toned image on the right (taken with yellow plastic Holga filter in cute little city Novigrad in Istria, Croatia). Two years ago, that was my first lomography experiment.
