Photoshop 7.0 Brushes, as we know, are compatible with all succeeding Photoshop versions.
I took me while to convert them all but it’s done now and you’re welcome to download them! (After the subscription to my Newsletter – where I only write about cool stuff, of course)
Last year, in summer, I started creating Photoshop brushes using Photoshop CS2, then I upgraded to Photoshop CS3 and didn’t even dreamed about how many of you would like (and love :)) to have my brushes… No, really.
After a few months, I received many questions about Photoshop 7.0 compatibility (I received one question for 6.0 version, but hey – that was a little bit too much for me). Somewhere, somehow I found in my old Photoshop 5.0 box, but then, this version had a serious brush size limitation, so I decided to go with Photoshop 7.0 as it allowed 2500px brush size.
All PS brushes are compatible with Photoshop Elements 6.0 too! Darijan tested it and it works fine!
Now, I’m happy to announce that my brushes will be added to “Digital Arts” June and July issue, and “Macworld” June issue! I didn’t expected such a great exposure and I’m overjoyed!

Hi Gang! It’s been a while and I feel totally bad about not writing for so long (5 days!). And many things have happened in the meantime.
We had technical issues with our WordPress blog, then we upgraded it to the latest 2.5 version, then we had some more technical issues – BUT it is all resolved now!!!! (Thank you Nickola from Siteground! You’ve been a great help and support in a tough times!)
So, we’re up and running again and it is my great pleasure to introduce our first guest writer:
Lauren from Creative Curio
Lauren has been in the graphic design industry since 2003 and currently runs Creative Curio, a graphic design focused blog. Scrapbooking has been her hobby since around the same time, and she loves this no-pressure creative outlet. Therefore, she didn’t think twice when we asked her if she would like to write about scrapbooking.
So, if you’d like to find out how was the scrapbook image above done check out Scrapboking tutorial: Children in Spring –> by Lauren from Creative Curio.

Hi Gang!
I did it again. Just couldn’t help it, played around with some of my brushes (Swirls and Butterflies) and made this little cutie:

After it was finished I thought I’d call it Fantasy Butterflies! For the curious ones, I will post a short tutorial on how I did it in a short while.
Peace!
Silvia

So, you would like to print your own scrapbook that will be cool, unique and… huh, cool?
How would you like to make some cool graphics, merge them with some photos and print out as a scrapbook that will always remind you of some people or events?
Do you just feel you can’t afford to spend too much time working on it?
Well, let me tell you something. It took me one afternoon to do my Rovinj (Rovigno) scrap book. Rovinj is a small fisherman’s town in Croatia, at the coast of the Adriatic Sea. I decided that I want to have scrapbook of it, took one afternoon of and … voila! Here it is. Do I need to mention that I used my own brushes for it? (and of course my photos!)
Here is just a preview of the book and in next post I will briefly describe how it’s done. So, if I did it, I’m sure you can do it too. At home. Just using a printer, canvas paper, some textile, cork board, sea shells and a sponge. Nothing too sophisticated.
Photoshop brushes used for this book:
- Swirls (floral) Photoshop brushes set (premium edition)
- Tatoo designs Photoshop brushes set (premium edition)
- Simple custom Photoshop brushes set

Joing GBG for Free Photoshop 7.0 brushes – Butterflies Made of Swirls – Lite set of 5 (approx. 500 pixels size)
Get Photoshop brushes – Butterflies Made of Swirls – Premium set of 20 right here (high resolution)
Today I wanted to take a different approach to swirls. And to butterflies. So, I created butterflies out of swirls. And I hope you will like it as much as I do. It’s a prefect brush for a happy spring time or similar scrapbook. Just scatter them across the field and let them dance their way across your page leaving just enough room for the photograph of your kid somewhere in the middle.
All in all, what I wanted to say, may these butterflies bring spring to your home (and mine) soon.
Have fun creating,
S :)

Butterflies made of swirls LITE version are available to GBG members. It is one of the add on downloads GBG members get upon their registration into their Free Download Areas.

Awww! My good mood spreads all around!
Two days ago thanks to my net-surfing-craziness I found this great web site called redbubble.
I just love this community because I can create T-Shirts and Greeting Cards out of my work, not just the simple “stock images”! And, I really love the T-Shirt idea!
Imagine this: after only day and a half, my image made it to the front page (that is the one with the strawberry and honey)! Oooo, I’m so happy! You can check my gallery there if you like…
Well, ok. Enough words for today. More about other happy details can be red on my 404039 blog!
To keep the promise, today I present the brand new Photoshop brushes set for download. Brush corners. Hand made :) set of 40 (high res, 440 to 2120 pix)

Love!

This Monday came fast. Today, here in Croatia, it’s our Independence Day.
Last Friday, half of the city left their jobs earlier because people here just love the looong weekends! Also, almost everyone owns something at the coast (house, cottage, apartment…) or has someone in a family who owns something at the coast :-P
Since I didn’t leave the city this time, I went to the nearest wood looking for some wild chestnuts. I didn’t find much but I collected some wood leaves and here’s today’s brush collection: Wood Leaves – set of 26. (Google can read it as: Download Free Photoshop Brushes: Wood Leaves) High resolution Photoshop brushes, sizes from 465 to 2450.
