It’s 3rd already. But still, it is not too late to update your desktop wallpaper with a new one. For this one, I took one of my photos, tweaked a color or two (I know, you could never tell :)), added a Photoshop brush or two and voila!

What’s with the colors?
Well, Autumn begins… and the main colors in nature are yellow, red, gold and brown… I had to leave the grass in green because my hubby insisted that it looks “absolutely gorgeous” this way. Well, it looks kind of “weird”, I can give him that.

It is a weird day today. Especially the sunset I’m watching right now.
It rains, clouds are low, but still, far away, from the west, sun shines through, making drops of water sparkle on the trees in yellow, red and orange colors. Of course, the rainbow appeared too. On the east side where all is gray. All is weird this afternoon. Summer is coming to it’s end … obviously.
But, let’s not be sad about it! We are now looking forward to September, aren’t we! If you are into photography, you will love September, because the colors of September are always so beautiful. One of the best months for Photo lovers!
And, of course, this month as always, I prepared a desktop wallpaper calendar for you guys. The photo below was taken in September on a sailing trip and, as you can see, it was pretty dramatic :)

August. Yes, it is here – the hottest month of the year!
I made this August Desktop Wallpaper Calendar for a monthly competition on Smashing Magazine, and they accepted it! (thank you guys)
My theme was nature, but not just usual nature visualization but “Nature’s dream” – well, at least I thought what nature’s dream might look like in August.
This wallpaper can be downloaded on Smashing Magazine and it is available in two different versions: with calendar and without calendar!

June is almost finished and July is knocking at our doors. Are you enjoying this Summer?
We moved into our new, still not fully furnished house (kitchen still missing), and it’s nice to be surrounded by trees and flowers. It is especially nice not to need the heating ;) Poofah and Peacco are still adapting to the new environment, but, all in all, all is fine.

Last night I dreamt that my cat Poofah whispered to my ear:
“Make the February Calendar Desktop Wallpaper… make the February Calendar Desktop Wallpaper… “
I opened my eyes. Poofah was sitting on my pillow. Starring at me. In silence. Her yellow eyes were glittering in the dark.
Just a distant howling of the lone wolf. Owl shrieked and flew away. Clouds were passing by the full moon.
OK. I exaggerated a bit with this wolf, moon and owl thing but still, I look at Poofah in suspicion ever since. And silence is all I get – ever since.
Anyways, I just had to make sure that such nightmare won’t happen’ again so I sat by my computer, opened some of my favorite Photoshop brushes and voila: February 2010 Calendar Desktop Wallpaper is here (Download link is below)!
I know you won’t miss the Poofah influence in the design. Sorry, I could not escape it :)
