I just have to share this with you. I made this T-Shirt on Zazzle just for the purpose of showing you one of the ways to use Photoshop brushes. I did this T-Shirt and just left it there. Never did any promotion for my Zazzle shop or anything like that. I guess you can imagine how pleasantly surprised I was when I received an email from Zazzle stating that it was sold!

Yes I know, it looks a bit Twitter. But I created this swirled shapes with leaves a long time ago, back in August 2006. I didn’t know (now I know) if Twitter even existed at that time. Yes, it’s true and it can be easily verified on my profile on iStockphoto.Com (just check the “date uploaded” field).
Anyways, that’s how the “Tweet! Tweet! Springtime!” TShirt was created and sold on Zazzle yesterday.

Gang! It’s January and the time has come for another upgrade! (Nothing to do with January really … but … oh, well…. anyways … :)

Here is a retrospective of what we’ve done in 2009. I had no IDEA that I made so MANY different examples on how to use Photoshop brushes during 2009! There was also a bunch of new Photoshop brushes and loads of fun!

Photoshop brushes are in action again and this time we will make a CD/DVD sleeve for your 2010 New Year’s Celebration Photos.
So, you made a whole bunch of photos during the holidays? I bet you did. Wouldn’t it be nice if you burn them on a CD or DVD, make a self-made and self designed CD sleeve for it?
And if you prepare all this as a gift, the joy is even bigger!
As always, I used some of my Photoshop brushes to prepare a winter holidays CD/DVD sleeve design for you.
These free downloads are totally ready and all you have to is:
1. Download designs from this page. Select between A4 or Letter format.
2. Print them out on A4 or Letter format (use borderless printing)
3. Follow these videos on how to make a CD/DVD sleeve:

I don’t know about you, but I just love the element of surprise. Especially when it comes to gifts. And since I strongly believe in “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” philosophy – every now and then I prepare a small surprise gifts for all of you who purchased at least one of my PREMIUM Photoshop brushes sets.

Now, this new free upgrade brings new dimensions of Swirls Floral Photoshop brushes and I just can’t emphasize enough how good it is to have brushes in two dimensions.
Why, you will ask?
Because, Photoshop brushes are still bitmap images. We all know how bitmap images don’t like to be stretched-out because when they are stretched out – they lose their quality. Well, believe it or not, same can happen when you re-size the Photoshop brush to a smaller dimension. OK, you can always safely decrease the size of Photoshop brush by 25%-30% but if you make it smaller than that – again, it might easily lose it’s quality.
And that’s where this new brush dimension comes in. Instead of decreasing the size of the big brush, you will now just use the smaller version of the same brush. Or should I say, small hi quality version of the same brush. This way you will avoid the risk of losing the quality of the brush by scaling it down.

1. What I need to do?
- You need to make Christmas graphics. One, two, tree … well, not more than three submissions please. It can be Christmas card, Christmas Party Invitation, Gift tag, Scrapbook cover … or any other graphic applied to paper or web or video any other media, like mug, or shirt … does’t matter.
