When you see this photo you will have to agree, Myratz (also known as Myrcco, but everyone knows him as “Myrcco – The Space Cat”) is, most probably, coming from a different Planet! I have reasons to believe so and when you see this photo, you will, at least, have to admit the resemblance.
Look at his eyes and then compare to the creatures which were seen by people who saw aliens. I thing the image speaks for itself. This goes beyond the reasonable doubt.
Also, he does not behave like any other cat I’ve known (and I know cats, believe me). He is purring 24hrs/day. He doesn’t just purr while I pet him, oh no! He purrs while he eats, he purrs while he sleeps, he purrs while he sh*ts for heaven’s sake! I swear!
OK. Until recently I believed that he was given birth by Maneki Neko (see: The story of Maneki Neko). But, now, when I think back, I never saw this happening! I remember, when I saw him for the first time, he was one of the bunch together with Maneki’s other kittens.
Right now Myratz is jumping all over my desk but I know within next 15 minutes he will be asleep, dreaming of the galaxy he left not so long ago and, of course purring (yes, he purrs while he sleeps)!

Of course, this little application is nowhere near the Photoshop but it still allows you to:
- Rotate the brushes: Ctrl (on Mac Cmd) + Left and Right Arrow Keys
- Re-size the brushes: Ctrl (on Mac Cmd) + Up and Downl Arrow Keys
- Change transparency
- Color it (solid colors only)
You can, also, choose whether you want to work with some of the backgrounds I provided or you want to work on a solid color background, this application will allow you to do both.

Don’t know about you but I like to recycle. I strongly believe that we could recycle at least 80% of the stuff instead of throwing them away every day.
So, here’s a little preview what I’ve done with, for instance, old glass jars, mostly from my favorite products by Saclà Italia :)
The image below shows, for instance, glass jars filled with soil and plants. I got my hubby to drill in some holes and put them on the wall. They are hanging on the driftwood I collect (what? you don’t collect driftwood? of course you do! everyone does that …) every spring. So, finally, here is what my bathroom wall looks like today, everything recycled:

Here’s what the wall in my working room looks like:
As you can see, I am using glass jars as simple candle holders too… I color them, decorate them with leaves or stripes… or whatever I can recycle. Finally, I print out a paper candle shades and put them around the jars:
As you probably guessed, to create candle shades, I use my Photoshop brushes.
So, if you like these candle shades, this is the place to get them!
I hope you will maybe find some of these ideas inspirational and maybe you will find some stuff at home that doesn’t need to be thrown away but can be used to create a decoration or something useful for your household.

January is still here … it’s pretty persistent and hard to get rid off, this January.
Even my “Beat the January blues” Graphic design contest didn’t result with many entries. C’mon guys! We’ve got two so far.
Well, at least that’s good for Fiona and Cris! Way to go guys! You ROCK!

Well, obviously, I am getting obsessed with the Spring. Maybe I should just sell all I’ve got and go for a nice two weeks vacation somewhere on the Pacific islands where the sun shines all the time (except at nights, naturally, because if the sun would shine at night … well, that would be just – wrong.)
