You would not believe how many steps are there between coming up with an idea (in my case they start popping out in most unexpected moments, in a tram or when I’m just about to fall asleep) and making the idea come to life. But once it’s alive – the feeling is awesome.
So, some months ago, I was just about to fall asleep and that idea just popped up out of the blue. “How about…” my mind had no intention to go to sleep any time soon that night “How about taking some of these family holiday photos I had and turning them into a – movie!? A movie with background music, maybe some cool video effects …. hmmmm … now THAT would be fun to watch when friends or guests drop by. Nothing too long, a few minutes, but dynamic and funny … yes! I think I’m onto something here!“
The rest is history.

Gang, this will be one short post. It is about giving. And I will keep it short. Promise.
So, as soon as we started our Facebook fan page we proclaimed to following:

So, in the giving spirit, today we prepared another gift for our Facebook fans, it is one cool Christmas / New Year 3600×3600 px background (12×12 inches at 300dpi) that was made with Christmas Photoshop brushes set.

Christmas Cards Design Templates
And now, something special for this special time of the year! Christmas is a great chance, for all of us, to show our friends and family how much we love them and how much we appreciate them. And the best way to say that, still is and will always be, good old – Christmas Card.
But, for some of you, just like me, buying a Christmas card in the store and putting few words on it just isn’t enough!
We can do better than that! We want to have the option to change and customize the front side of the card as well :) We want to be able to give our personal touch to the greeting card. And some of you might even want to print and sell Christmas cards to earn some extra cash for Christmas!

But, then I figured, in a typical micro stock agency for card templates you would pay anywhere between $2 (for web size 72dpi cards) up to $50 if you plan to print them in large amounts.
So, instead of paying a fortune for unlimited commercial use, hi-res, print ready Christmas card templates, go figure, mine are $2.95 away from freebie. Now, that’s a small distance.
No brainer really. Especially if you consider:
- what a time saver these are,
- what are the possibilities,
- how much fun it is to work with them

I don’t know about you, but I just love the element of surprise. Especially when it comes to gifts. And since I strongly believe in “do unto others as you would have them do unto you” philosophy – every now and then I prepare a small surprise gifts for all of you who purchased at least one of my PREMIUM Photoshop brushes sets.

Why, you will ask?
Because, Photoshop brushes are still bitmap images. We all know how bitmap images don’t like to be stretched-out because when they are stretched out – they lose their quality. Well, believe it or not, same can happen when you re-size the Photoshop brush to a smaller dimension. OK, you can always safely decrease the size of Photoshop brush by 25%-30% but if you make it smaller than that – again, it might easily lose it’s quality.

Or should I say, small hi quality version of the same brush. This way you will avoid the risk of losing the quality of the brush by scaling it down.
